We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team and drive growth in the field of inspection technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, managing projects from initial inquiry to completion, and contributing to strategic sales initiatives.
Your mission
- Installation, commissioning, and acceptance of cold-end systems and inspection equipment at customer sites worldwide
- Support during plant start-ups and ensuring stable production operations on site
- Systematic analysis and troubleshooting of failures in inspection machines, sensors, and automated systems
- Execution of maintenance, service, and calibration activities
- Training and instruction of customer personnel (in-house and on-site)
- Preparation and support of customer audits
- Close cooperation with the engineering department to continuously improve systems
- Analysis of operational and process data as well as preparation of service reports and technical documentation
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, further education as a technician or a degree in a technical field
- Experience in commissioning, parameterization, and maintenance of glass inspection machines in the cold-end environment
- Good knowledge of optical measurement technology and automated inspection and testing systems
- Basic knowledge of computer and network technology
- Experience in troubleshooting complex technical systems
- Very good command of English, written and spoken
- High willingness to travel internationally (worldwide)
- Valid driving license (Category B)
- Confident appearance in an international customer environment
- Independent, solution-oriented, and structured working style
- Team player with strong collaboration skills across internal departments and customers
