We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join our team and drive growth in the field of inspection technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, managing projects from initial inquiry to completion, and contributing to strategic sales initiatives.

Your mission

  • Manage and strategically develop existing customer relationships worldwide and drive targeted new customer acquisition 
  • Manage the entire sales process independently in close coordination with internal departments 
  • Lead and support projects in the cold end area from initial customer inquiry through to final acceptance at the customer site 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for inspection machines 
  • Conduct product presentations and execute sales activities with international customers 
  • Analyze global market and growth potential to identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with international Area Sales Managers and internal departments

Your profile

  • Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification 
  • Several years of sales experience in mechanical and plant engineering, ideally in an international project environment 
  • Experience in the international glass industry or with inspection machines is an advantage 
  • Strong knowledge in developing and implementing sales strategies 
  • Good understanding of different sales channels and their effective use 
  • Business fluent English skills (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus 
  • High willingness to travel worldwide and strong intercultural competence 
  • Strong communication skills and confident presence in an international environment 
  • Strong sense of ownership combined with a structured and results-driven way of working
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional teams
